OT Society Reaches Landmark Point
A message from OT Society President, Nigel White
You may be aware that in recent
times the OT Society has changed a lot.
We work really closely with the School; there are lots of exciting and
well-attended events on offer and very regular communication.
However, we have now reached a
landmark point in our history. In
addition to providing comprehensive opportunities for OT engagement, we are further developing the Society so that it can best support the continued growth
and success of the School.
On Saturday 19 November 2011, the OT Society Committee together with guest OTs attended a strategic thinking session to discuss the best way forward for the Society
in its continued quest to meet both the needs of the School and OTs.
Details of the future direction of the OT Society and the Committee will be published in due course. If in the meantime you are interested in joining
the OT Committee, please email me directly
and I will be happy to talk to you about being a
committee member, and in particular, the changes that have taken place to this
role.
Many thanks for your continued support.
With very best wishes.
Nigel

Lost Alumni - We need your help!

We need your help!
In our busy world as people move around, emigrate or get married, we find that we can lose touch with those who once attended Trent College.
We are attempting to reconnect with our lost alumni and are looking to you for help with our quest.
You can view here an updated list of 'missing persons'. All lost alumni are listed alphabetically within their year of entry year group.
If you can help us by providing contact information, please complete the online data capture form.
As we progress with our campaign the lost alumni list will continue to be updated.
For any queries please email us or telephone Jo Slater, Alumni Events & Communications Officer on 0115 849 4994.

OT Golf Society
If you are a golfer then the Old Tridents' Golfing Society would like to hear from you. Operating before the Second World War and reconstituted in 1947, B.G. Catterns accepted the office of President, E.D. Cochrane was Captain, and R.K. May was Secretary and Treasurer. The first meeting of the 'new' Society took place at the Castle Hotel, on 19th April 1947 and still continues as a very successful society to this day. Playing in a number of competitions, such as the Grafton Morrish, Cyril Gray and Halford Hewitt, the Society is always looking for new members. If you are interested, please contact the Development Office who will put you in touch with Chris Swallow, Captain of the OT Golf Team. More details are available at www.trentgolf.wordpress.com.
