Old Tridents' Society
The Old Tridents' Society was formed in 1903 by Abraham Shuker, a Trent Housemaster who held his teaching post with the School for 32 years. Shuker wanted to create an organisation for former pupils so that they could keep in contact with each other and with the School long after they left. Over 100 years later, the Society is still going strong, arranging a variety of events, reunions and activities for alumni of Trent.
The Trent Association works in partnership with the Old Tridents' Society, managing OT events at the School, publishing communications such as The Trident, developing and hosting web pages and ensuring that up-to-date records of former pupils are held.
2009 saw changes to the OT Society Committee, as the Society re-launched to ensure the needs and expectations of its growing community were met. A number of new members were welcomed to the OT Committee, please click on the link to the left to view the Committee Members list.
