The Trent Association intends to bring together
all those that have,
or have had links
with Trent

Membership of the Trent Association will be free and open to anyone who has had or still has a connection with Trent.

This will include:

  • Existing and past pupils of Trent.
  • Existing and past parents of Trent.
  • Existing and past staff of Trent.
  • Existing and past governors of Trent.
  • Other members e.g. Suppliers, Friends of Trent etc.

The Trent Association’s aim is to:

  • Bring together all those that have or have had links with Trent.

  • Encourage communication between its members and improve networking to the great advantage of the School itself, its alumni, former and current parents and pupils alike.

  • Organise events to the wider membership and to encourage members to maintain their links with Trent; and to have as many opportunities as possible to visit and remain in touch with the School.

  • Communicate regularly news and information about Trent to its members using a variety of approaches e.g. The Trident Newsletter, electronic communication such as e-mail, the website and Friends Reunited.

  • Provide a more effective means of gathering and interchanging information and ensure a wider distribution of news to all interested parties.

  • Promote the various activities and events currently offered by different groups such as The Old Tridents’ Society and the Parent Social Association.

  • Support the activities and events of its constituent members (e.g. OT’s) by providing administrative and marketing support when required; and by helping to promote their work and activities to their own members.

  • To raise the profile of the School and enhance its reputation on a national and international level.
